I was shocked at our last gas bill. It costs a lot of money to heat this old, poorly insulated apartment. We've been keeping it a lot cooler inside. Wearing sweatshirts & slippers at all times. I ordered two small, cheap space heaters from Amazon & they arrived today. Hoping the bill next month won't be as high.

Ouch. We felt the pain when we moved into our house a few winters ago. I hope the space heaters help. It's no fun having it be chilly, but that's sometime what we have to do. :)
Our gas bill was high last month, too. Stupid 70 year old windows.

I feel your pain. Talking to my fam, it costs as much to heat our tiny apartment as it does a whole house. And its not even comfortably warm.
yeah watch out - your electric bill will sky rocket with the space heaters- personal testimony here! Winter sucks!
