Sadie's Find

Yep. Spotted by my 3 year old. I was ready to go, saying. "Sadie, come on. come on. come on. let's go. let's go!!" But when I went around the corner to physically bring her w/ me to the register, she was sitting happily on this chair. Smiling sweetly & saying "look mom!" Way to go, Sadie!

Progress has not been as speedy this week. I do feel a crafting surge coming on, however.

Strawberry Pickin'

We spent our Saturday morning picking strawberries & our afternoon making jam. It was a bit muddy, but we had a great time being together. I want to go back when the blueberries are ready!

Happy Father's Day!

It is so wonderful to watch the man you love become a father. It really does fill me with happiness, as corny as that sounds. My favorite moments to observe are the quiet ones where Dylan loves & snuggles the girls & lets them just be.

Etsy Friends & Family

My youngest sister Kimberly just opened up an etsy shop selling cute little tote bags. Her fabric choices are really bright & fun so be sure to check them all out!!



My sister-in-law Lilia started up her etsy shop last week. She has a great sense of style & a great vintage eye. Lots of fun goodies in her shop.



My good friend Andrea also has an etsy shop going. Her little girls headbands with changeable bows are adorable & such a great idea.

Vintage Patchwork + Linen Pillows

We're Back

We had a great time. Got to catch up with a few friends. Spent lots of time with family. Went to the temple, which was my favorite part of the trip. Being in the place that we were married, so close to our anniversary was really special. Welcomed home my brother. Tried to avoid the heat & got very little sewing done. Oh, well. Read this book on the airplane that Dylan checked out from the library for me.

It's good to be back home. Of course we had issues with our flight home. Delayed two hours out of Vegas & then diverted to Detroit because of a storm right over Cleveland. I finally got to bed at about 2 am on Monday night. We're busy, busy around here getting things back on schedule & making preparations to work my little fingers to the bone for the summer market.
