Ask Me Anything

I'm feeling quite boring lately & I'm running low on ideas for posts, so I figured that I'd copy Christina & let you all ask me some questions. Please, by all means, ask away! I will answer every single question to the best of my ability in a future post.

(I have NO photos of myself because I'm the one that's always behind the camera. So if there are any photos of me it's just the ones that I take of myself, like this one. My arms are kinda funny because I am holding out the camera & I'm kinda hunched over my kitchen sink with the camera on the window sill. Oh well. Don't laugh at me, okay.)

What are three of your favorite really quick family meals? Recipes or tips would also be appreciated!

For me, pizza bagels, taco salad, and chili are what I do best. :-)

I LOVE that picture! There is so much in your eyes- BEAUTIFUL!
How much do you love me? There's a question, about ME, cause Im kind of self absorbed right now. ;)
If you want a some better questions here they are...
* does the size of a man's ears REALLY matter??????
* where do you see yourself (not just physically) in ten years?
* what celebrity are you most fascinated by and why?

My questions are...

Where and how did you learn to sew?

Where do you get all your crafting ideas from?

I've had my sewing machine set up for months but haven't made a thing.

I have two questions...
1. How did you learn to sew? (oops - Michelle just asked that)
and...
2. Which sewing books are your favourites and why?
Love this idea - can't wait to read all your answers!

i want to know what your favorite movie is aside from star wars (a guess?), what your favorite book is (non-craft related because someone else already asked that), and your favorite album if you have one...

Hmm...how do you come up with ideas for entertaining your kids? Do you have some sort of "starter kit" of arts/craft supplies to recommend? Some awesome books/cds on games and things to do with kids? I want to help my kids expand their creativity, but am out of ideas right now!

Hi! Just started reading your blog! I am so interested in your craftiness. I1 question I tried to make those big bubbles twice and it didnt work. I swear I did it right. They make bubbles but will never pop off the wand. Actually I am using yarn. So any tips Please?!?
Also I have a sewing machine brand new and in the box I just dont know how to use it or set it up. Can u tell me how to get started. Like what should I purchase to start sewing. I love the grocery bag holder and short aprons u make. Are those easy and can u point me towards the directions?

1. Where do you draw your inspiration for your sewing/craft projects? (I'm sure someone else already asked that, but I'm asking again!)
2. What kind of camera do you use?
3. Is there another kind of craft you would like to learn in the future (pottery, weaving, painting...etc)?
4. Do you still scrapbook?
5. How do you find time to be crafty? I think it's awesome how so many moms are out there helping earn income through sewing and crafting. Y'all are an inspiration!

I love your blog! Hope I didn't ask too many questions. :)

ooooh! HERE is my REAL question- kind of a question just no phrased like one, tell me about Aunt Mary!!! I made her cinnamon rolls today and since we call them Aunt Mary's roll, I figure I should be able to tell my posterity who YOUR Aunt Mary is! :) If she's not cool Im changing their name to Grandma Duke's cinnamon rolls cause EVERY kid should have a Grandma Duke!!!!
