When I got her all dressed & ready, she had to see herself in front of the full length mirror. She kept saying "How adorable do I look!".
She'll be going to preschool 5 days a week with every other Friday off, so it really feels as if she's starting kindergarten. She was very excited & just walked right into class. I really was doing fine with my emotions until I started driving away & holey moley....I cried way more than I expected I would. It's so hard to explain. We're excited to pick her up in a few hours & to hear all about it.

I was surprised by my emotions when I sent H&W off to JK - I was fine until I got in the car and read a poem that the teacher gave me - then I cried like a baby. It will get easier and soon the funny stories will start to pour in!

i always say that i don't understand the whole mom c crying thing too, but i am sure when i finally get there, i will probably bawl like a baby! so good job holding it in till you go to the car!

Oh My! She is so adorable! I cried too when trace went to pre school, and Kindergarten, and 1st grade and 2nd grade! I totally understand. It is a hard emotion to deal with or even explain!
she does look really cute. i was way more sad to see emma go to 1st grade than K. because now she is gone from 7:30am to 3:30pm!!! this is when friends become important because she is with them more than me. ... how sad.
Oh I know... I had the same thing happen to me. I was driving away, doing fine and then BAM... tears!

Oh, she is just so darn adorable! I hope you survived today- I was the same way when my little guy went off to school. I was a sobbing wreck (to be more specific) :(
