I Love The Stacks

Here's what happened when I went to the thrift store this morning:

There was a bit of an explosion of vintage floral sheets in my cart. And a few ginghams & stripes as well. It was a good thing. I like to get a big haul on one trip rather than make lots of trips where I only find a few good ones. And, this means that I don't have to go back for another month or so. :)

What a find! I usually only find two or three at the most in one place so this is what my two months of looking piles look like! Great colors!

I had a similar thrift store run a couple of weeks ago. It was so, so good!

I actually had one of my first positive encounters with a thrift store the other day. Dave and I went in and found a book we had been wanting to buy, plus a nearly brand new betty crocker cookbook for me, 5 books for the kids, and a skirt for Ana. All for less than $5! I am beginning to like thrifting...

OH MY!! I never ever find good prints when I go thrifting. I swear the store workers are hoarding it for themselves. or maybe it's just the midwest. the thrift stores are, um, less than thrilling.

What a great way to help protect out environment by repurosing! Plus, they don't make those great vintage patterns like they used to. Keep up the great work!
