By Hand

Does the glow of the Christmas tree lights make you want to be busy, busy, busy crafting up little goodies for all your loved ones like it does me?

What gifts are you making by hand this year? I'm still figuring all mine out, but I promise to share as I finish them. :)

I am loving my Christmas crafting this year! I have just made 3 Advent Calendars (see it on my blog) for friends children & us, we are making felt decorations tomorrow, and I am making frilly aprons for my Nana & Aunt, and pyjama's for my Mum, Mother-in-law and daughter.

I can't wait to see what you make!

Well, I WAS going to make a pinwheel table runner for my mom but my two-year-old took off with my squares and I can't find them anywhere. She has an obsession with fabric. LIke mother like daughter.

I'm also doing dress-up dresses (with CHEAP-O fabric) and pajama pants for the fabric snitch. Because I still love her. :)

I'm making heaps of stuff but I am having blog photo posting withdrawal as I can't share them yet, in case I spoil the surprise for some people. Driving me crazy!

I'm making bibs for all the babes in my life, and I'm taking a page from melissa at checkout girl and making a felt scene hoop for a good friend. Whatever I can't make I'm buying from etsy :)

This is my first Christmas doing handmade gifts since I'm a newbie at sewing (well, I made stuff as a kid of course). I made doll dresses for my girls who are getting nice new dolls for a gift from their grandparents! I put them up on the blog since they don't read it yet.

I made a quilted advent a la Oh Fransson (have yet to blog it but it's up on flickr), a quilted table runner for my MIL, and lots of homemade foodie gifts. Also giving some of my appliqued baby shirts and sewn ornaments. Oh, and a few lavender sachets with antique doilies - -all yet to blog since I don't want recipients to see! Very hard month for blogging since I'm quite productive but can't share!

I made a mod podge bulletin board for my in-laws and some photo puzzles and PJ pants for my toddler. I also sewed their holiday clothes.

so true....lots of what we make this month can't be shared on our blogs until after the holidays. it is a struggle for craft bloggers for sure.

Hey Candace! Oh my list is so very long. I'm starting to think if I'm really going to get it all done! I've made two quilts, pillowcases, dolls already. Now I'm making a purse for my mom and another one for my sister-in-law, my husband is building a play kitchen for our daughters, and I want to stock it with felt food. Pretty ambitious, we'll see. Can't wait to see what you're making.
