So I got a new phone. Actually it's the first cell phone that I've ever owned that's just been mine. I'm 30 years old & I finally have my own cell phone. I know it's not the fanciest phone in the world, but I think it's pretty amazing & I'm super stoked on it. I'm love that it has a keyboard because I can be a texting machine now. Awesome.
It's a sad thing when junior high kids have cell phone but you don't. When the kids that babysit your kids have their own phone, but you don't. So I'm feeling like pretty hot stuff now. Just thought I'd share.
Also, got me thinking about some other things that I have never done in the 30 years that I've lived. Let me share a few with you.
I've never been tanning.
I've never left the country.
I've never done karaoke.
I've never sewn a zipper. (About time I figured that one out.)

i can't think of one stinking thing! i never enter giveaways? and i never ever win. i wish i could say i've never been tanning, although i have sworn to give it up and haven't been in over a year. and i've never sewn a zipper, but i've never sewn a lot of things.
Wow I don't feel so alone anymore in my recent cell phone acquisition! I just got my first ever cell phone about a year ago at 26 and it's a cheap $30 phone from Target :)

i've never broken a bone - and really hope i never ever do! (i didn't get a cell phone until i was a sophmore in college and even then it was because my dad was sick of not being able to get a hold of me so he gave me one for christmas. i still forget to check it during the day and lose it all the time).
I've never done lots of things. I've never worn parachute pants. I've never punched someone in the face(even though I have wanted to), never had a vaginal birth(and I have two kids). Have never been to the hospital other than to have those two kids. Have never payed for a babysitter(aren't Grandma's awesome?!!)
I've never had a yeast infection, or mastitis(and I have nursed my two children collectively for almost 4 years). Well, maybe I should stop, I don't want to to get too personal. ;)

I have never had my nails done. Not that funny unless you consider that I used to work at a hair salon and had the services right at my finger tips (lame pun intended). At that point in my life I had also never tanned (though I cleaned the tanning beds) and never dyed my hair. I really know how to squander an opportunity when it presents itself.

I never received my interior design diploma! The school was bought out and in order to receive it they want me to re-enroll and take 6 more classes. I refused. I still have my transcript, but it doesn't matter the credits are not accepted anywhere else. Silly!
I'm back in school to earn another degree... YAY! I think nutrition will be a better fit anyway :)
On a side note, I've never given birth and that is something I really, really want to do.
