I love chalkboards. That my be obvious because I use them quite often in my photo backgrounds. I just think they are so cool.
We decided to make some chalkboards of our own to sell this year at the craft boutique. We used found frames & transformed them in to bright, cheerful chalkboards.
What do you think?

Thanks y'all! We took out the glass & stuff & put in a piece of wood that we painted with chalkboard paint.

I love this post. I recently did the same thing but as a cork board and I love the outcome. What a great idea to make chalk boards as well.

One question: where do you look for frames? I'm assuming that "found frames" means you did not buy them? If so, I think I need to know your secret!
Or perhaps you bought the frames inexpensively somewhere and then made them beautiful?
